I am a 22 year old black woman from New York City (Harlem born and raised). I am a recent college graduate from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. I graduated a semester early in December 2019 with a degree in Psychology and Public Health/Health Policy. Now I currently reside in Maryland, serving the DMV area as a birth and postpartum doula. I have past experience in child care working in a day care for a couple years. I have also spent a couple years at a childbirth education center as an office assistant. That was also where I took my doula training in May 2018 and postpartum training in August 2019. I love what I do and it is my passion to provide support and care for all women and black families as means to educate, empower and inform women and in turn lower maternal mortality rates.
